Missy’s Covid-19 Policy

Here at Missy’s Beauty we are taking our responsibility to keep our therapists and clients safe seriously. 

We have put in place the following guidelines to ensure the safety of our staff and clients, please take the time to read this policy to ensure you are ready for your visit!

We regularly review and update our policies in line with government advice & will still be working hard to ensure you have the most wonderful and safe experience with us here at Missys.


Symptoms

If  you develop Covid-19 symptoms prior to your appointment please reschedule your appointment for at least a week after your positive test.

If  you become unwell with Covid-19 after your appointment please inform the salon so we can inform anyone who may have had close contact.


Face Treatments 

If you are having any Lash or Eyebrow treatments you will be required to wear a mask for your appointment. 

If you are having anything on the lower face you will not need to wear a mask once you are in treatment.

Mobile phones are not permitted to be used whilst you are having your treatment.

Bookings / Consultations

Bookings should  be made online / via our app or by Phone or Email.

Consultation forms will be sent via email prior to every appointment with additional covid-19 questions.

Appointments

When you arrive please use the designated Hand sanitising station before entering the salon.

Please arrive on time to your appointment (not early or late) to ensure we can adhere to low numbers in the reception area and allow the therapist adequate time to clean her treatment room/area after your treatment. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late to your appointment we will not be able to do your appointment and there will be a charge. 

Please bring minimal personal belongings with you. We will not be able to take your coat so please either leave your coat in the car / take into your treatment where possible.

You must come alone to your treatment.

We have put in place correct PPE measures for our staff members to ensure everyone’s safety.

If you are required to wear a Face Mask for your appointment & you do not bring your own Face mask we will provide you one at the cost of £1(donated to NHS Charitable Fund).

Please avoid touching any products / testers or displays whilst you are at the salon. If you want to try anything please ask a member of our team

After every client each treatment area/room will be thoroughly cleaned before the next client.   We are allowing a gap between each client in order to ensure efficient cleaning.

There are many hand sanitising stations- one upon entering the salon, one at reception and several upstairs, please make use of them as required.

The open areas will be cleaned thoroughly and regularly. 


Payments

Deposits will be taken from clients online and in the salon for bookings over 30 mins long.

If someone needs to cancel within 24 hours due to developing Covid-19 symptoms your deposit / appointment will be transferable from 2 weeks after you present with symptoms. 

We will be taking card payment unless you have no other option other than  to pay by cash - we ask you bring the correct amount as we do not have any change available.

Tips- Can be added to card payments or correct cash can be given.
