Kath Shawcross - Salon Owner
Kath is our salon owner who brought her high-end beauty salon idea to life in 2015. After a year long renovation, which consisted of a ridiculous amount of joy with an equal amount of sweat and tears, we opened our doors in July 2016.
Missy’s is Kath’s ‘baby’ and keeps her busy alongside her three children, husband & four dogs, which complete her family. She has so much passion and works hard to make sure that Missy’s provides market leading, cutting edge beauty treatments that deliver real results at competitive prices in a luxurious and friendly setting.
Caroline Buckley - Business Manager
Caroline is our business manager (and Kaths sister) who takes pride in ensuring that you have the best experience possible at Missy’s.
Having a background in business and accounts she is the person that keeps the salon running like clockwork whilst planning ahead for the future – whether from the front desk or in the office behind the scenes.
Farryn - Reception / MUA
My name is Farryn Ter-Ossepiantz. I live in Nantwich with my husband, having relocated from Johannesburg, South Africa in 2018.
I’ve worked as a successful international model since 2010 and decided to branch into makeup artistry early on in my career. Choosing to focus on makeup was born from my passion for transformation. I love the challenge of creating a theme-based image of a model to compliment a specific photoshoot. Mostly however, I love helping a client enhance her best features through makeup. It gives me great pleasure to see a client walk away satisfied and with much more confidence after a session with me.
Missy’s has given me an opportunity to establish a successful career in makeup artistry and I’m loving the work I do here.
I’ve learned many techniques and skills, having studied in South Africa. It’s a pleasure for me to be able to use my skills in this country and in doing so build up a solid client base.
Aside from my professional life, I’m also a very creative and health conscious person. I truly believe beauty comes from within, both literally and figuratively speaking. I’ve adopted a lifestyle to match with healthy, clean eating and exercise as top priorities. I strive each day to be better, both mentally and physically as I believe this will aid in my journey to a successful future.
Molly - Salon Manager
Molly is one of our Senior Therapists here at Missy’s Beauty having trained at The International School of Beauty gaining the CIDESCO Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
I truly love my career it’s not just a job for me, being in a fast paced and exciting industry which is consistently evolving- there is so much to learn. I specialise in body and facial treatments. I am most content in a warm treatment room with soft music, transporting my clients from there hectic days to a point of pure relaxation. I love having the opportunity to meet new clients and grow a friendship with them, whilst making them feel like they have had some precious time to themselves.
Alice - Therapist
Alice joined us in 2020 while completing the prestigious CIDESCO Diploma in Beauty Therapy at The International School of Beauty here in Nantwich, alongside further brand training with us here at Missy’s.
